A Place for Fans to Be Fans – Not Insiders or Experts
The Full Nelson was born in March 2011 inside a Colorado Media School classroom. That’s where I met my future co-host, Lucas Bradwell, in a Sports Broadcasting class taught by ESPN statistician and producer extraordinaire, Ivan Sokalsky. Lucas has since gone on to do big things, calling play-by-play for Rocky Mountain Professional Wrestling in Denver, but the vision of The Full Nelson hasn’t changed.
Our mission? Keep wrestling fun. No fantasy booking. No pretending to be in the creative room. No “I heard from a source” insider talk. Just reactions, stories, interviews, and plenty of entertainment with a healthy dose of sarcasm—the way wrestling should be covered for fans like us.
We started as an Internet radio show in April 2011 on GoMileHigh.com, Wednesday nights from 7–9 p.m. Our first major guest was none other than the late, great WWE Hall of Famer, Vader. We talked about his legendary runs in WCW and WWE, his life as a father, and his pride in his son, who at the time was training at the WWE Performance Center.
Over the years, our guest list became a who’s who of pro wrestling and sports entertainment:
- WWE Hall of Famers: Trish Stratus, Mick Foley, Rob Van Dam, Diamond Dallas Page, and Vader
- The 2011 Tough Enough Cast (USA Network) including former Miss USA Rima Fakih
- AEW Superstar Bobby Lashley
- Former WWE Stars: Al Snow and Low Ki
When you tune in to The Full Nelson—whether you’re reading a reaction piece or listening to the podcast—expect excitement, laughs, and stories you won’t get from rumor mills or dirt sheets. We’ll be talking WWE RAW, NXT, SmackDown, AEW Dynamite, AEW Collision, and TNA Impact every week, along with coverage of all WWE/NXT/TNA premium live events and AEW pay-per-views.
As the late Scott Hall famously said: We don’t sing it… we bring it.
